Choosing the correct violin size is essential for comfortable playing and proper technique development. While age can be a helpful guide, arm length is the most accurate measurement for determining the right violin size.

How to Measure Arm Length

  1. Extend your left arm straight out to the side at shoulder height
  2. Measure from the base of your neck to the center of your left palm
  3. Keep your arm fully extended during measurement
  4. Use the measurement in centimeters to match with the guide below
